Sponsor

For businesses and organisations who share our vision and values, we would love to discuss sponsorship with you. There are a number of ways we can return value to you including brand alignment, signage, naming rights, digital recognition, connection with key customers, supports or development opportunities for your staff or members.
We would like to tailor a sponsorship package specific to your business/organisation. We are particularly interested in speaking with organisations who would consider entering into a multi-year partnership. Our General Manager, Lauren Hughes would love to meet with you and discuss this further. Please contact [email protected] / 0212225682.

Bequest

Bequests are a wonderful option for those who would like to leave us a gift in their will. If you let us know of your intended bequest we will gratefully include you in our donor group, inviting you to relevant functions and sending you our quarterly donor news.
To make a bequest you will need to consult your lawyer to add the required clauses into your will.  You may also wish to let your family and loved ones know of your intention so they are clear about your intentions.
These are some examples of the kind of wording you might use but please ensure you seek legal advice to enact your wishes.
General Bequest: "I give and bequeath the amount of $____to XYZ organisation , located at (specify address)”
Percentage Bequest: "I give and bequeath ___% of the total value of my estate to XYZ organisation located at (specify address)."
Bequest of a Residue: "The residue and remainder of my estate, both real and personal, wherever situated, I give and bequeath to XYZ organisation, located at (specify address), to be used as the Board of Trustees directs."

  • frozen meat and vegetables (please arrange drop off to ensure freezer space)
  • fresh produce
  • toiletries and cleaning products - toilet paper, shampoo, soap, toothpaste and brushes, washing powder

Homekill - if you keep stock please consider donating a few items from your homekill to our food bank. Meat rarely comes through our national food networks and is a luxury item for many of our clients. A packet of mince or some sausages can go a long way for a family in need.

Volunteer

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organisation. There are many different volunteer roles that might suit you including:
  • Volunteer Drivers - we need people with full, clean drivers licenses available during the week day to assist with medical transport to Hamilton and Thames. Our drivers use our  vehicles and are fully trained and supported in their work.
  • Luncheon Club volunteers - we need people who enjoy food preparation and hospitality to assist in the preparation and services of our monthly Luncheon Club for Seniors at the Bowling Club. This is a lovely social opportunity to work in a team and to build relationships with our senior guests.
  • Community Gardeners - we welcome assistance with planting, weeding, harvesting and maintenance at the community garden. We meet Tuesday and Saturday mornings. Fantastic if you have previous gardening experience but you will be working with our experienced team leaders and they are happy to support new gardeners in their roles.
  • Event volunteers - we often need assistance with things such as traffic management, parking, supervision, catering and more at our community events.
  • General Hand - there are many jobs around our properties that volunteers could assist with such as water blasting, sweeping, sorting.
If you have some time to spare and would like to help us serve your community please contact [email protected], phone 07 826 4303 or pop in and see the team.
Please note that all our volunteers are required to consent to a police vetting process.
